There's no question that Maddie Ziegler is full of talent. She's an actress—her big screen debut, The Book of Henry, hits screens June 16—a dancer, a fashion designer, author, and vlogger.

But there's one thing the Seventeen cover star admits she needs to get better at: texting! "My friends tell me I'm the worst texter," she says in the July/August issue of Seventeen. "I don't use emojis, and everything is lowercase. In my head I'm expressing my emotions, but I guess I just don't come across as very enthusiastic. I need to get on that and start using emojis and stuff!"

Maddie also opened up about her crazy-cool life, who gives her style inspo, what she misses about Dance Moms, and so much more. Here's a sneak peek at what she had to say:

She doesn't getting caught up in her busy schedule.

"I'm still just a teenager. I get so caught up in what I'm doing that my friends and family sometimes have to remind me that what I'm doing is cool. I never imagined this."

She avoids haters.

"I try to stay away from online comments. Why should I bother reading something from someone who has nothing better to do than try to make people feel smaller, so they can feel bigger? It's not okay."

Zendaya is her fashion icon.

"What I like about her is that she changes it up all the time—she can be tomboyish or really girly. I admire that."

She's getting used to the vlogger lifestyle.

"It can be hard. I film and edit all of my videos myself—it's more personal that way. It's a lot of work, but it's important to me because I want to put out cool content."

She's glad to be off of Dance Moms.

"The show was a really stressful time—I just didn't want to deal with all of the drama anymore. I'm happy I've moved on. I get to step out and do my own thing and be myself.
